White acrylic letters – PLEXIGLAS^® script MT

A name on the nursery door, a saying above the sofa or lettering in the shop window. Sometimes all that's missing is the right word on the wall. With these white acrylic letters, you put together your own text character by character. They come in the flowing MT script, as if made just for your wall. Single PLEXIGLAS^® letters become lettering that stays.

Material & finish

The letters are made of white PLEXIGLAS^® approx. 3 mm thick. They hold their shape and are cleanly finished, with smooth edges and an even surface. Each letter is laser-cut individually and made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck. Some capital letters have flourishes that extend beyond the selectable heights. That's part of the style of this script.

• Choice of height: 5 cm, 10 cm, 15 cm or 20 cm (based on the capital letters)
• Lowercase letters to the same scale as designed in the font, so they are shorter than the chosen height
• Example from the Arial font at 10 cm: capital O 10 cm, lowercase a 7.3 cm, lowercase h 9.7 cm. The lowercase g is 10 cm tall but reaches about 2.6 cm below the baseline. In script fonts, lowercase letters are often a little smaller still
• Some capital letters have flourishes that extend beyond the chosen height
• Laser-cut, each letter individually

Good to know about acrylic glass

Acrylic glass was developed in Germany in the 1930s and became known under the name PLEXIGLAS^®. It is much lighter and less prone to breaking than ordinary glass. So even larger lettering is easy to fix to a wall, door or shop window.
