Why this felt star makes a difference every day
Christmas decorations look best when they don't look thrown together. Several stars in different sizes create a calm, well-planned look in the window or above the chest of drawers. No glitter, no fuss. Felt is soft and pleasant to hold. So the decorating itself is fun, including with children.
Material & finish
The star is made of 100 % polyester felt, approx. 2.5 to 3 mm thick. It is sturdy enough to lie flat and hang in shape. At the same time, it feels soft. It is cut with a laser. This seals the edges, so nothing frays. Every point stays crisp. Every star is made in Bütic's own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. Careful workmanship instead of anonymous mass-produced goods.

How to use the felt star
- During Advent: hang several stars in different sizes in the window. When you come home, you can see from outside that it's cosy inside.
- On the laid table: use a large star as a placemat or coaster under a tealight or teapot. Your table looks festive and stays protected at the same time.
- Crafting with children: the soft felt is easy to glue things onto and sew. In the end, a star you decorated yourself hangs on the fir branch, and everyone is proud of it.
- As gift decoration: put a small star on the parcel. The gift looks lovingly wrapped before anyone opens it.
- In a café, a bakery or at a market stall: spread a set of stars across the counter and shop window. Your Advent decorations are up in a few minutes and look consistent all season.
Good to know about the star
The star is one of the oldest symbols of the Christmas season. It recalls the Star of Bethlehem, which, according to tradition, showed the way to the manger. That's exactly why it fits so naturally into Advent and Christmas decorations. In the window, on the tree or on the festively laid table.
Care & durability
There's not much you need to do. Simply shake out dust or brush it off gently. Thanks to the sealed laser edges, the felt doesn't fray and keeps its clean shape. So you can store the stars after the season and bring them out again next year.
