Brown felt star – Christmas decoration and crafts, 10–60 cm

Advent is just around the corner. The window still looks bare, and the table is waiting for something warm and soft. Hang a brown felt star in the window as a Christmas decoration. Put one under your mug as a coaster, or use it as craft material. It is soft and matt and instantly says Advent. You can choose a height from 10 to 60 cm, so it suits your ideas – from a small hanging ornament to a large placemat.

What changes for you

• You can start crafting straight away, with no cutting of your own. Every star arrives cleanly laser cut and ready shaped.
• Your decorations stay looking good for a long time. The laser cut seals the edges, so they don't fray.
• You will find the right size for every idea. Choose anything from 10 to 60 cm in 1 cm steps.
• You can set your table in one consistent style: small stars as coasters and large ones as placemats. One material, one colour.
• Larger projects are easy to plan. Order the stars individually or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.

Why this felt star makes a difference every day

Felt brings a warmth to a room that smooth materials lack. It is soft to the touch, muted in colour and pleasantly understated. The brown blends in with natural decorations such as wood, twigs and candles rather than pushing itself forward. In the window, on the table or on the Advent wreath, it creates a calm look that suits the cosy season. And it takes very little effort.

Material & finish

The star is made from firm polyester felt about 2.5–3 mm thick. It lies flat on the table, hangs smoothly in the window and does not bend out of shape while you craft. Laser cutting gives a clean, even outline. The sealed edges stand up to frequent handling. Every star is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. The finish is clean and consistent, whatever the size of your order.

• For Advent coffee: a small star under each cup, and the table looks lovingly laid before the first biscuit is on the plate.
• For Christmas dinner: large stars as placemats under plates and bowls. Your table looks festive without hours of decorating.
• For making Christmas decorations with children: the stars come ready cut, so little hands can start gluing, painting and threading right away.
• In the window or on the Advent wreath: hang up or tuck in a few stars in different sizes, and the room instantly feels like Advent.
• In a café or at the shop counter: with stars in one size, you can decorate your counter and shop window for the season in a few minutes. The sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 also cover larger areas.

Good to know about the star

The star has been part of Advent and Christmas for centuries. It stands for the Star of Bethlehem, which shows the way. That is why the motif suits not only windows and tables. It also works on homemade Christmas cards, gift tags and in the Advent wreath.

Frequently asked questions

Will the edges fray over time? No. Laser cutting seals the edges, so the star keeps its clean outline even with frequent use.

Which size works as a coaster and which as a placemat? Smaller stars work as coasters for mugs and glasses. Larger ones work as placemats under plates and bowls. You choose the height in 1 cm steps between 10 and 60 cm.

Is the felt sturdy enough for crafts? Yes. The firm polyester felt, approx. 2.5–3 mm thick, holds its shape. You can easily glue on it, sew on it and hang it up.

Can I order larger quantities? Yes. Besides single stars, there are sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100. They are ideal for craft groups, clubs or shop decorations.

A felt cutout is just the beginning. What counts is the moment when the candles are lit, the stars hang in the window and everyone at the table feels a little more at home. Simply choose your size and quantity. You design the rest.
