With these stick-on letters in dark blue PLEXIGLAS^®, you put together your own text, letter by letter. They come in the flowing MT script with its fine flourishes, as if made for your wall.

Material & finish

The letters are made of dark blue PLEXIGLAS^® approx. 3 mm thick. The material is coloured right through and keeps its shape. So the colour does not just sit on the surface, and your lettering keeps its clear outline on the wall. Every letter is laser-cut in Bütic's own production in Pößneck. This gives clean outlines, right down to the fine flourishes of the MT script. You can glue or drill the characters and use them for any kind of decoration.

Good to know about PLEXIGLAS^®

PLEXIGLAS^® is the well-known brand name for acrylic glass, developed in Germany in the 1930s. It is much lighter and more break-resistant than ordinary glass. That is exactly why it works so well for letters on the wall. Mounting is easy. And even in a child's room or a busy shop, you don't have to think about broken glass.

Frequently asked questions

Why is a lowercase letter not as tall as the chosen size? The chosen height refers to the capital letters. Lowercase letters are made to the same scale as they are designed in the font. An example from the Arial font at 10 cm: the capital O is 10 cm tall, the lowercase a 7.3 cm, the lowercase h 9.7 cm. The lowercase g is 10 cm tall but reaches around 2.6 cm below the baseline. In script fonts such as MT, lowercase letters often turn out a little smaller still.

Which size should I order for a whole word? Order all the letters of a word in the same size, even if it starts with a capital. That way, capitals and lowercase letters match in scale.

Can I glue or drill the letters? Both are possible. You can glue or drill the characters and use them for all kinds of decorations.
