Dark blue felt flower coaster V2 – decor & crafts

The vase leaves rings on the chest of drawers. The plant pot scratches the windowsill. And the laid table could do with a splash of colour. A flower-shaped felt coaster solves both at once. The soft, dark blue cutout protects delicate surfaces. At the same time, it puts a calm blue flower on your table – as if made for your home. You choose the size freely from 3 to 60 cm. So it fits your space, not the other way round.

What changes for you

• Your furniture stays spotless. The soft polyester felt gently cushions pots, plates, glasses and vases and prevents scratches.
• Your table decoration looks well thought out without lengthy arranging. The flower shape blends in quietly and draws the eye to your crockery, candles or flowers.
• You get exactly the size you need. The cutout can be ordered from 3 to 60 cm in 1 cm steps – from a small glass coaster to a large placemat.
• You don't need to worry about fraying edges. The laser cut seals the edges, so they stay clean.
• You have a free hand when crafting. As a ready-made cutout, the felt flower can be used straight away – for place cards, garlands or seasonal decorating ideas.

Why this felt coaster makes a difference every day

A coaster is often the detail that completes a laid table. The deep dark blue brings calm to your table decoration. It makes light crockery, candles or flowers look all the more cheerful. And you no longer have to think about where the hot pot or the heavy vase can go. The felt simply lies where you need it, and you can focus on your guests.

Material & finish

The coaster is made of 100 % polyester felt with a thickness of approx. 2.5 to 3 mm. That is thick enough to noticeably protect surfaces. It still feels pleasantly soft in your hand. Every cutout is laser-cut in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck. This seals the edges, so they don't fray. The result is a clean, even flower shape, made in Thuringia/Germany.

How to use the felt coaster

• On the windowsill: a dark blue flower under every plant pot. Instead of water rings, you see a calm, matching row of plants.
• At dinner with guests: placed under glasses and bowls, the blue flower ties crockery and candles together. Your table decoration looks all of a piece.
• Crafting with children: the ready-made felt flowers can be decorated with stickers, threaded or turned into cards. The result looks neat, even without any cutting experience.
• In a café or at the weekly market: large cutouts as a base for vases and cake stands make your counter look tidy in seconds. They protect the surface at the same time.
• As a large placemat: a 60 cm cutout marks each place at the table. Laying the table is quicker, because the layout falls into place by itself.

Good to know about the blue flower

Since Novalis, the blue flower has been the best-known symbol of Romanticism. It stands for longing, calm and a love of beauty in everyday life. That is why the motif suits a lovingly laid table or homemade decorations so well. The dark blue flower shape stays in the background and fits in with whatever you arrange around it.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Simply shake out or brush off crumbs and dust – that's enough for everyday use. The laser-sealed edges keep the flower shape's clean outline. It won't fray, even with frequent use.
