The foot is laser-cut from 100 % polyester felt in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia. The laser cut seals the edges. Nothing frays, and every piece keeps a clean, clear outline. At approx. 2.5–3 mm thick, the felt holds its shape well enough for gluing, sewing or laying out. It still feels pleasantly soft.
