Snowflake V2 in felt – black, 10–60 cm, laser-cut

It gets dark early outside. Indoors, something is still missing at the window, on the tree or on the table. This black felt snowflake fits right there. Hang it in the window or on the tree. In small sizes, use it as a coaster for cups and glasses. You choose the width freely from 10 to 60 cm. So it suits your winter decorations exactly – from a delicate hanging ornament to a large piece on the wall.

What changes for you

• You decorate without fraying or touching up. The laser cut seals the edges and cuts the shape out cleanly.
• Your decoration fits its spot exactly. You choose the width from 10 to 60 cm in 1 cm steps.
• You can kit out larger projects in one go. Order the snowflake singly or as a set of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces.
• Your cups and glasses leave no marks on the table over winter. Simply use the smaller sizes as soft coasters.
• Crafting with children or guests stays relaxed. The felt is approx. 2.5–3 mm thick and easy to grip. It is easy to hang up, glue or sew.

Why this felt snowflake makes a difference every day

Black looks surprisingly calm in winter decorations. Against bright windows, on natural linen or among fir branches, the snow crystal's silhouette stands out clearly without being loud. Instead of a riot of colour, the silhouette of the snow crystal shows up clear and calm – at the window, on the Christmas tree or on the festive table. And because felt is soft and quiet, you can also decorate delicate surfaces. Nothing gets scratched or rattles.

Material & finish

The snowflake is made from 100 % polyester felt with a thickness of approx. 2.5–3 mm. It is firm enough to hold its shape and pleasantly soft at the same time. It is cut with a laser, so the edges are sealed and do not fray. The shape stays clean even after being hung up and taken down many times. Every snowflake is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

• Making Christmas decorations with children: thread the snowflakes, hang them in the windows – and by the afternoon the whole home looks wintry.
• On the Christmas tree: hung between baubles and lights, the clear silhouette creates a modern, calm contrast.
• On the coffee table: place small sizes under cups and glasses as coasters. The table stays protected and looks lovingly laid.
• For Christmas cards and presents: stick on a small snowflake or tie it to the ribbon. A plain wrapping becomes a personal greeting.
• In a café, bakery or at a market stall: with a set of 25, 50 or 100 pieces you decorate shop windows, counters and stalls uniformly in a short time. And you can reuse the winter decorations every year.

Good to know about the snowflake

Real snow crystals almost always grow with six-fold symmetry. And yet hardly two flakes are alike. This clear, natural shape has long made the snowflake a favourite winter motif for windows, trees and tables. In black, it suits a modern, minimal interior just as well as classic Christmas decorations.

Frequently asked questions

Will the edges fray over time? No. The laser cut seals the edges, so the snowflake keeps its clean outline.

Can I use the snowflake as a coaster? Yes. In smaller sizes it works well as a coaster for cups and glasses. The soft felt protects the table surface.

Which size is right? You choose the width between 10 and 60 cm in 1 cm steps. Small sizes suit tree hangers, cards and coasters. Large sizes suit windows and walls.

Are there quantities for larger projects? Yes. Besides single pieces, there are sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces. They are ideal for shop windows, cafés and restaurants, or crafting with a whole group.

A felt cutout is only the start. What counts is the moment you switch on the light in the evening and the snowflakes in the window bring the first day of winter into the room. Just choose your size and quantity. The dark season will do the rest.
