Why this felt gingerbread man makes a difference in everyday use

Christmas decorations look calm and well matched when the materials are soft and the colours are subtle. That's exactly what this soft felt figure offers. In the window, it catches the light. On a branch, it sways gently. On the table, it adds a cheerful dot of colour. And because you decide the size, the gingerbread man fits into your home without taking over.

Material & finish

The gingerbread man is made of 100 % polyester felt in a strong yellow. With a thickness of approx. 2.5–3 mm, it feels pleasantly firm. It's sturdy enough to hang up, glue on and sew. The laser cut gives clean outlines and sealed edges that don't fray, even after many Advent seasons. Every figure is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

Good to know about the gingerbread man

Gingerbread has been part of German Christmas tradition for centuries. The spiced bake was already made in medieval monasteries. Figures like the gingerbread man still decorate Christmas markets and gift tables today. As a felt figure, he brings this familiar symbol to your Advent decorations. Only without a best-before date, and reusable year after year.

There's not much you need to do. After the season, store it dry and flat, and the felt keeps its shape and colour. The laser-cut, sealed edges don't fray, even when hung up and taken down often. So the gingerbread man will be with you for many Advent seasons.
