Glasses leave rings on your new table, the flowerpot presses into the chest of drawers, and for crafting with the kids you still need a soft material that's easy to work with. Grey felt circles solve all of this in one go – as coasters, table protection or a base for your décor. With diameters from 3 to 60 cm, you'll find the disc that looks made for your table.

What changes for you

  • Your table stays free of rings and scratches – because the soft polyester felt gently cushions glasses, cups and vases.
  • You craft without frayed edges – thanks to laser cutting, all edges are neatly sealed.
  • You get exactly the size you need – from 3 to 60 cm in diameter, selectable in 1 cm steps.
  • You can plan bigger projects with ease – because you can order the felt circles singly or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.
  • The understated grey suits almost any interior and any season.

Why these felt circles make a difference every day

A laid table instantly looks more thought-through when there's a soft coaster under every glass – and you no longer have to worry about delicate surfaces while your guests make themselves comfortable. When crafting, you skip the fiddly job of cutting out round shapes and start straight away with clean circles. That leaves more time for what really matters: creating, decorating and spending time together.

Material & finish

The felt circles are made of 100 % polyester felt with a thickness of approx. 2.5 to 3 mm. They are firm enough to lie flat and reliably protect surfaces. At the same time, they feel pleasantly soft in your hand. Each circle is laser-cut in Bütic's own production in Pößneck. This seals the edges, so they don't fray. They look neat and stay that way, even with frequent use.

  • For making Christmas decorations and Christmas cards: small felt circles become hanging ornaments, baubles on cards or accents on your Advent wreath – in just a few minutes you've made something of your own.
  • Under flowerpots and bowls: larger felt discs protect chests of drawers and windowsills – you can move things around without leaving marks.
  • In a café or on the buffet: matching coasters under cups and carafes create a well-kept look – and with sets of up to 100, you can kit out every table in one go.

Good to know about felt

Felt is considered one of the oldest textile materials of all. It has always been valued because it dampens, cushions and protects. The circles absorb knocks and muffle the sound when you put down crockery. They also protect delicate surfaces along the way.

Frequently asked questions

Do the edges fray over time? No – the felt circles are laser-cut, so the edges are sealed and stay neat for good.

What material are the felt circles made from? 100% polyester felt with a thickness of approx. 2.5 to 3 mm.

Which size works as a coaster? The smaller diameters fit nicely under glasses, cups or vases; larger felt discs protect table surfaces under pots and bowls.

Can I order larger quantities? Yes – as well as single pieces, there are sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.

In the end, it's not about a disc of felt. It's about the moment you put your glass down without having to think about the table – and about the crafting afternoons when a few grey circles turn into something all your own. Simply choose your diameter and quantity.
