Grey felt hexagon – hexagon cutout for crafting, 3–60 cm

The table is laid and the teapot is steaming. Under every glass lies a grey felt hexagon that quietly keeps smears and scratches away. Use it as a coaster, as craft material or as wall decoration in a honeycomb pattern. The felt hexagon cutout blends quietly into your home, as if it were made for your table. In grey, it stays pleasantly understated and suits almost any interior style.

What changes for you

• Your table stays free of scratches and rings – because the soft polyester felt gently cushions glasses, cups and vases.
• You can start crafting without tedious cutting – thanks to the precise laser shape in exactly the size you need, from 3 to 60 cm.
• No more annoying frayed edges – the laser cut seals the edges, so they stay clean.
• Your decoration looks planned rather than thrown together – because all hexagons are cut exactly the same. They fit together without gaps to form patterns.
• You have plenty in stock for bigger projects – order them singly or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.

Why this felt hexagon makes a difference day to day

Felt lies softly under plates, glasses and ceramics and protects table surfaces from scratches. The understated grey blends in rather than standing out. This keeps the table calm and tidy, even with lots of items on it. And when you combine several hexagons, a honeycomb pattern forms almost by itself. It gives structure to a wall, counter or windowsill.

Material & finish

The cutout is made from 100% polyester felt with a thickness of approx. 2.5 to 3 mm. It is firm enough to hold glasses and bowls securely, yet pleasantly soft in the hand. Every hexagon is laser cut in our own production in Pößneck. The heat of the cut seals the edges, so nothing frays and the shape stays crisp for good. So you get clean workmanship, made in Thuringia.

• Coffee with friends: a small hexagon under every cup. The table stays spotless, and the honeycomb pattern ties the gathering together.
• Crafting with children: the ready-cut shapes are perfect for sticking things on, embroidering and arranging. At the end, every child holds their own creation.
• During Advent: use several sizes to make your own Christmas decorations – as a window picture, a base for ornaments or a cosy mat for candle jars.
• Larger cutouts as mats: pots and bowls stand softly and securely. Your table stays protected, even when things get hot.
• In a café or at the weekly market: matching felt coasters on the counter are quick to lay out and collect again. Your display looks neat with no extra effort.

Good to know about the hexagon

The hexagon is one of the few shapes that fit together without gaps. Nature has always used this in the honeycombs of bees. That is exactly why the hexagon cutout works so well for decorating larger areas. Several hexagons form a closed pattern on a wall, table or pinboard. You can extend it as you like.
