The heart is made from 100 % polyester felt, about 1 mm thick. It feels pleasantly soft in your hand. It is also stable enough to lie flat on the table. Every heart is laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck. This seals the edges, so they do not fray. The shape stays clean and crisp, even after lots of handling, gluing and rearranging.
