The felt is made of 100% polyester and is approx. 1 mm thick. It is firm enough to lie flat on the table and still pleasantly soft to the touch. Every hexagon is laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck. This seals the edges, so they don't fray. You get clean, precise hexagons. They still fit together neatly, even after being laid out and rearranged many times.
