The candle is on the table, the vase on the windowsill – and you'd like nothing underneath to get scratched or slide about. A black felt circle sorts that out quietly and discreetly: as a coaster, as craft material or as an appliqué for sewing. With sizes from 3 to 60 cm in diameter, you'll find the disc that feels made for your project.

What changes for you

  • Your furniture stays spotless when glasses, vases or candles stand on it – because the 1 mm felt gently protects the surface.
  • You can craft and sew without fraying edges – thanks to laser cutting with sealed edges.
  • You get exactly the size you need – because every diameter from 3 to 60 cm is available in 1 cm steps.
  • You'll have enough for bigger projects too, such as making Christmas decorations or crafting with children – because the felt circles come singly or in sets of up to 100 pieces.
  • Your decorations look calm and tidy. That's because black stays in the background and lets other colours stand out more clearly.

Why these felt circles make a difference every day

A good coaster goes unnoticed – it simply makes sure everything stays in its place, nothing rattles and nothing leaves marks. When crafting and sewing, a cleanly cut disc gives you a neat result from the very start, without having to cut anything yourself. So you can jump straight into the fun part of your project instead of the prep work.

Material & finish

The circles are made from 100 % polyester felt, approx. 1 mm thick. They feel soft and still hold their shape well enough for decorations, appliqués and mats. Each circle is laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck. This seals the edges, so they don't fray. The result is clean workmanship you can rely on with every single piece – made in Thuringia.

How to use the felt circles

  • In the evening on the coffee table: a felt circle under your glass – and the tabletop stays free of rings and scratches.
  • Making Christmas decorations? Combine the black discs with stars, pine cones or candles. You'll have a calm base for your arrangements straight away.
  • Crafting with children: the circles can be glued, stitched and combined – and little hands get to work with a material that doesn't fray.
  • At the sewing machine: use a circle as an appliqué or backing – and get clean outlines without finishing the edges.
  • In the café or on the buffet: under vases and candles on the counter and tables – the decorations stay put without slipping and leave no marks on the surfaces.

Good to know about felt

Felt is considered one of the oldest textile materials of all – valued because it has no woven edges and therefore stays clean wherever it's cut. That's exactly what makes these circles so easy to use: you can use them straight away, trim them or sew them without anything coming apart.

  • Available singly or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100

Frequently asked questions

Will the edges fray over time? No. The circles are laser-cut, so the edges are sealed and stay clean for good.

Can I sew the felt circles? Yes. The 1 mm felt works well as an appliqué or backing – by machine or by hand.

Are the circles suitable as coasters? Yes. They protect surfaces under glasses, vases and candles from scratches and help them stand securely.

What are the circles made of? 100 % polyester felt with a thickness of approx. 1 mm.

In the end, it's not about a felt disc. It's about the moment your craft project comes together, the candle stands securely and the table looks just the way you pictured it. Simply choose your diameter and the quantity you need – your ideas will take care of the rest.
