Christmas felt gingerbread man, purple – 3–60 cm, laser-cut

The Advent wreath is up and the candles are lit. But the window and the table still need a figure that brings in some colour. That's exactly what this purple felt gingerbread man is for. It's a Christmas decoration that breaks the mould. It adds a fresh, playful splash of colour to your home. Tie a single one to a present or line up a whole parade in the window. You decide how much gingerbread man you want.

What changes for you

• Your Christmas decorations get a character of their own that not everyone has. The gingerbread man's unusual purple stands out from the classic red and green.
• You craft without frayed edges. Every cutout is cut with a laser, so the edges are sealed.
• You'll find the right size for every idea, from small table scatter to a large window figure. You can choose any height from 3 to 60 cm in 1 cm steps.
• In the smaller sizes, you also get coasters for glasses and mugs on your table. The soft felt protects the surface and looks festive too.
• You can plan bigger projects with ease. Order the gingerbread man individually or as a set of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces.

Why this felt gingerbread man makes a difference every day

Christmas decorations look their best when they run through your whole home: in the window, on the table, on the gift ribbon. With a figure that comes in any size, you can decorate all these places in the same style. Window, table and gift ribbon then share the same motif. The soft felt feels pleasant in your hand. It softens the light for cosy Advent evenings.

Material & finish

The gingerbread man is made of 100% polyester felt with a thickness of approx. 2.5 to 3 mm. It feels soft in your hand and still keeps its shape when you hang it up or lay it out. Laser cutting gives a clean outline and sealed edges, so nothing frays. This stays true even after putting it up and taking it down several times. Every cutout is made in Bütic's own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use the felt gingerbread man

• Making Christmas decorations with children: everyone gets a figure to stick things on and decorate. At the end, a small, home-made gingerbread parade hangs in the window.
• On the Advent table: a small gingerbread man as a glass coaster at every place. Your guests have something to discover before their first sip of punch.
• On a present: instead of a bow, tie a figure to the ribbon. The parcel under the tree stands out straight away.
• As a Christmas window decoration: combine several sizes to make a family of figures. It looks just as inviting from outside as from inside.
• In a café, bakery or at a market stall: large cutouts on the counter and in the shop window create a seasonal display in just a few minutes. No tools and no big set-up needed.

Good to know about the gingerbread man

The gingerbread man has been part of Advent and Christmas for generations. It's a biscuit shape, a fairy-tale character and a classic Christmas decoration. Because everyone recognises it straight away, you can be bold with the colour. In purple, the familiar motif stands out from traditional decorations and still looks like Christmas.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. After the season, simply shake it out or dust it carefully and store it somewhere dry. The sealed laser-cut edges don't fray. So the figures come out of the box in good shape again next Advent.
