The Advent afternoon is planned and the children are already sitting at the table. All that's missing now is material that makes them want to start crafting right away. A felt puzzle piece in bold purple is just the thing. It feels soft in the hand, shows strong colour on the table and comes in the size you choose. It's made for your crafting afternoon. Use it as decoration for a child's room, as a building block for money gifts or as a coaster. A simple cutout quickly becomes something that lasts.

What changes for you

  • You can start straight away, with no cutting or finishing. That's because every puzzle piece is laser-cut and the edges are sealed.
  • Your decoration matches your idea exactly. You choose the size from 3 to 60 cm in 1 cm steps.
  • You protect your table along the way. In smaller sizes the piece works as a coaster for glasses, cups or vases. The felt is approx. 2.5 to 3 mm thick and is gentle on the surface.
  • Larger projects are no trouble either. You can order singly or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces.
  • Your purple shade fits in clearly. You can combine it with other felt colours without it looking busy.

Why this felt puzzle piece makes a difference every day

Felt lies soft and slightly textured on the table and the shelf. It's quite different from smooth paper or shiny foil. When crafting with children, the material sits comfortably in small hands. It also forgives the odd impatient grab. And when single pieces grow into a picture, a garland or a wall decoration, you end up with something you'll want to keep out rather than put away after the celebration.

Material & finish

The puzzle piece is made of 100 % polyester felt, approx. 2.5 to 3 mm thick. It's firm enough to hold its shape and soft enough to protect surfaces. Laser cutting gives a clean, even outline. The edges are sealed in the process, so the felt doesn't fray. Every piece is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. In short: cut in Germany and carefully finished.

Dimensions & technical details

  • Material: 100% polyester felt

  • Material thickness: approx. 2.5–3 mm

  • Made in Thuringia, Germany

How to use the puzzle piece

  • Making Christmas decorations with children: decorate and label several pieces and join them into a garland. In the end, something the children made themselves hangs in the hallway.
  • For money gifts: one note per puzzle piece. Put together at the end, they form the picture. And the recipients have a little puzzle to solve while unwrapping.
  • As a place card: at a birthday or family celebration, put a labelled piece on every plate. Everyone finds their seat before you have to say a word.
  • In a café or at the weekly market: use puzzle pieces as colourful bases for price tags or as counter decoration. They're quick to lay out and quick to collect again. And your display looks lovingly arranged.
  • Our tip for the table: In smaller sizes you can use the puzzle piece as a coaster for glasses, cups or vases. The felt is approx. 2.5 to 3 mm thick and protects the table surface. It also adds a dot of colour to the table.

Good to know about the puzzle piece

The jigsaw puzzle was invented in 18th-century England. The map seller John Spilsbury cut up maps to teach children geography. To this day, a single puzzle piece stands for the idea that only many pieces together make a whole. That's why it suits group activities so well. For example, every wedding guest or every child in a group can design their own piece.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. The edges are sealed during laser cutting, so the felt doesn't fray and keeps its clear shape. That holds true even when the pieces are often picked up, moved or put together in new ways.

Frequently asked questions

Does the felt fray at the edges? No. The pieces are laser-cut, which seals the edges and keeps them in shape.

Can I use the puzzle piece as a coaster? Yes. In smaller sizes it works as a coaster for glasses, cups or vases. The felt is approx. 2.5 to 3 mm thick and protects the table surface.

How big is the main body without the tabs? Divide the size you choose by 1.25 to get the size of the main body. At 10 x 10 cm that's 8 x 8 cm. At 17 x 17 cm it's 13.6 cm.

What is the puzzle piece made of? 100 % polyester felt, approx. 2.5 to 3 mm thick, made in Thuringia.

A felt cutout is only the starting point. What counts is the moment when many single pieces become a picture. On the craft table, on the wall or in a gift that people remember. Just choose your size and quantity, and get started.
