Every letter is laser-cut from 3 mm poplar plywood in our own production in Pößneck. The laser cut gives clean, precise edges with the typical brown rim. This rim gives the letters their warm, handcrafted look. Wood is a natural material. Its shade varies, it shows a lively grain and it may have small knots. This makes every piece unique. It is not a flaw, it is nature.

Options & what's included

• Four heights to choose from: 5 cm, 10 cm, 15 cm and 20 cm. The chosen height refers to the capital letters.
• Lower-case letters are made to the same scale as in the font. So they are not as tall as the chosen size. Example from the Arial font at 10 cm: the capital O is 10 cm tall, the lower-case a is 7.3 cm and the lower-case h is 9.7 cm. The lower-case g is 10 cm tall but reaches about 2.6 cm below the baseline.
• So for one word, order all letters in the same size, even if it starts with a capital letter. That way, upper- and lower-case letters match.
• Each letter is supplied individually. You put your own text together freely.

How are the letters attached? The back has clear, strong 3M transfer tape. Peel off the protective film and press the letter on. You can also drill the letters and screw them on instead.
