Each letter is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood and made in our own production in Pößneck. Laser cutting creates the typical brown edge. It frames the flowing outline cleanly and gives the lettering depth. So your word looks finished even without paint. The front is left natural. You decide whether it stays untreated or gets a colour to match your interior. The back has a transparent 3M transfer adhesive tape with strong adhesion. Your lettering stays reliably where you want it.

• Please note: some capitals have flourishes that extend beyond the chosen height
• Important note on size: the height you choose applies to the capital letters. Lower-case letters are made to the same scale and are therefore shorter. For comparison, in the Arial font at 10 cm: the capital O is 10 cm high, the small a 7.3 cm, the small h 9.7 cm. The small g is 10 cm high, but reaches about 2.6 cm below the baseline. In script fonts, lower-case letters are often a little smaller still.
• So order all the letters for one word in the same size. That way, upper and lower case letters match.

• In the children's room: your child's name on the door – and the room clearly becomes their own little kingdom.
• For a wedding or christening: names and date as lettering on the festive table or at the entrance. Your guests know straight away that something special is being celebrated.

Good to know about laser-cut wooden letters

During laser cutting, the cut edge of the wood is slightly burnt. This creates the characteristic brown edge. It is not a flaw. It frames each letter like a fine outline. With flowing script fonts in particular, it keeps the lettering clearly legible even without any paint. On the wall, it looks as if it were framed.

Frequently asked questions

Are the lower-case letters as tall as the capital letters? No. The height you choose applies to the capital letters. Lower-case letters are made to the same scale and are therefore a little shorter, as the font dictates. Order all the letters for one word in the same size.

Can I paint or oil the letters? Yes. The front is left natural. You can cover, paint or oil it, just as you like.

How are the letters fixed? The back has a transparent 3M transfer adhesive tape with strong adhesion. You can also drill the letters and fix them another way.
