Why this wooden eye makes a difference in everyday use
A symbol made of wood feels different from paper or plastic. It looks calmer, sits heavier in the hand and feels more tangible. You can use it in an altar area, as a wall decoration or in a project about religions and symbolism. The eye in the triangle stands out without being intrusive. And because you design it yourself, it fits your room and your occasion exactly.
Material & finish
The cutout is made of 3 mm poplar plywood. It is light enough to hang up and sturdy enough to decorate and work with further. Laser cutting creates the typical brown edge. This gives the motif a clear, fine outline. The wood is untreated, not varnished or glazed. You can paint it, oil it or leave it natural, just as you like. Wood is a natural material and is never completely uniform. Differences in shade, fine structures in the grain and small knots are normal. They make every piece one of a kind.

How to use the all-seeing eye
- For an altar or prayer area: Hang a large eye, 40 or 50 cm wide, on the wall. It gives the room a clear, dignified focal point.
- For crafting with paint and brush: Paint the natural wood in your own colours. The blank becomes your very own symbol picture.
- For lessons and project work: With a set of 10 or 25 pieces, every participant designs their own motif. It is hard to find a clearer way to teach religious symbolism.
- As table scatter or hanging ornaments: Several eyes, 5 to 10 cm wide, complete your themed decorations down to the last detail.
Good to know about the all-seeing eye
The all-seeing eye, often also called the all-knowing eye, is the central symbol of Caodaism. This religion originated in Vietnam. As an eye in a triangle, the motif is also known far beyond this tradition. That is why the cutout suits religious spaces and altar areas. It also works well for educational projects and exhibitions about symbolism.
Care & durability
There is not much you need to do. Simply store the untreated wood in a dry place and protect it from constant moisture. If you paint or oil it, you decide on the look and the surface yourself. That way your motif stays the way you designed it for a long time.

Frequently asked questions
Can I paint the wooden eye or stick things on it? Yes. The poplar plywood is untreated. You can paint it, oil it, stick things on it or decorate it in other ways.
Why do the edges have a brown rim? The cutout is laser-cut. This creates the typical brown edge, which gives the motif a clean outline.
Do all cutouts look exactly the same? The shape does, the wood does not. As a natural material, it shows differences in shade, structures in the grain and occasionally small knots. Every piece is one of a kind.
How tall is the eye at a given width? As a reference: at a width of 10 cm, the height is 8.5 cm. Other sizes follow the same proportions.
Is the cutout suitable for outdoor use? The wood is untreated and should be protected from constant moisture. For outdoor use, we recommend a protective treatment, for example with varnish or oil.
A wooden cutout becomes your own symbol once you have designed it. Then it hangs on the wall and gives the room a quiet, special meaning. Just choose your width and quantity. You design the rest.
