The wood is completely untreated, so it is neither varnished nor glazed. It is ideal for painting, gluing, coating or oiling. Wood is a natural material, so every bottle turns out slightly different. Some are lighter, some darker, with small differences in the grain or the occasional knot. This makes every piece one of a kind, not faulty.
