Frequently asked questions

Can I paint the cutout straight away? Yes. The poplar plywood is untreated and takes acrylic paints, varnishes, glue or oil well. For most techniques, you don't need a primer.

Why does the edge have a brown rim? The outline is laser-cut. This creates the typical brown laser edge that neatly outlines the shape. It isn't a flaw. It's part of the cutting method.

Does every piece look the same? The shape is always identical, but the wood isn't. As a natural material, it varies in shade and grain and may show small knots. So every piece is one of a kind.

How wide is the cutout? The shape is roughly evenly proportioned. If you choose a height of 10 cm, the width is also 10 cm.
