The tractor is laser-cut from 3 mm poplar plywood in our own production in Pößneck. Laser cutting gives smooth, clean edges. It also leaves the typical brown edge, which gives the motif a slightly rustic look. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. This means paint and glue adhere well, and you can design the surface freely. Wood is a purely natural material. Variations in shade, fine structures in the grain or small knots are normal and not a defect. They are what make every piece unique.
