Material & finish

The cutout is made of 3 mm untreated poplar plywood. It is laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. Laser cutting gives smooth edges and the typical fine brown rim – a sign of cleanly laser-cut woodwork. As the wood is untreated, it takes paints, varnishes and oils well. Wood is a natural material, so every piece turns out a little different. Varying shades, fine grain patterns or small knots are normal. That is what makes every cutout one of a kind.
