The wood is untreated, not varnished or glazed. That's why it takes paint, glue or oil especially well. Wood is a natural material. Differences in shade, fine grain patterns and small knots are normal. They make every piece unique. Each figure is carefully made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.
