The underside is left natural. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. That's why it takes paint and glue well. As a purely natural material, every piece has its own grain. Differences in shade, small blemishes or knots are not defects. They make each dragon unique. It is made in Bütic's own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.
