Material & finish

The dragon is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. It has the warm brown edge that is typical of laser cutting. This edge frames the silhouette and gives the shape a clear outline. The edges are smooth and the finish is clean. So even little hands can craft with it safely. The top side has scored contour lines with a face. The underside is left natural. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. That's why paints, glues and oils stick particularly well. Wood is a natural material, so every dragon turns out a little different. Some are lighter, some darker, each has its own grain, and some have a small knot. That makes every piece one of a kind. The dragon is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.
