The stegosaurus is laser-cut from 3 mm poplar plywood. This gives it the typical brown edge – smooth, clean and pleasant to hold. The top shows the laser-scored outlines with the face and details. The underside is left natural. Wood is a natural material, so every piece turns out slightly different: lighter or darker, with its own grain, sometimes with small knots. That makes every dino one of a kind. By the way, it's made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia.

Why are the edges brownish? The cutout is laser-cut. This creates the typical brown edge. It's a feature of the process and gives smooth, clean edges.

Do all the dinos look exactly the same? The shape is identical, the wood isn't. As a natural material, it varies in shade and can show small irregularities or knots in the grain. This makes every piece one of a kind.
