The duck is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. Laser cutting creates smooth edges with the typical brown rim. So you can pick up the cutout straight away without sanding it. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. It takes paint, oil and glue well. As a natural material, every piece has its own grain. Some are lighter, some darker, and some have small knots. That makes every duck one of a kind – not a flaw, but character.
