Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong.Advent is here and the nativity scene is ready. Only the Three Kings are missing. Or perhaps you are looking for a figure to paint yourself with the children. This holy king as a wooden cutout is made for exactly that. It is a clear silhouette in untreated plywood, and you design it just the way you like. The result is Christmas decoration that is truly your own work.
What changes for you
- You design it freely to suit your taste. The wood is left natural and can be covered, painted, coated or oiled.
- Your figure fits its spot exactly, whether on the windowsill, in an Advent arrangement or in a large nativity scene. You can choose any height from 5 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
- You can start right away, with no edges to sand. Laser cutting gives smooth edges and clean outlines.
- Crafting with groups or need a larger quantity? You don't have to order pieces one by one. Sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 are available.
- The silhouette looks finished even before you paint it. The typical brown laser-cut edge gives the figure a fine, visible outline.
Why this wooden king makes a difference in everyday life
Shop-bought Christmas decorations often look the same everywhere. With the wooden holy king, you create something of your own. It is a figure you designed yourself, and you can bring it out again year after year. Use it in the nativity scene, to complete the Three Kings or in the window. The clear shape in light wood with its brown laser edge fits into the Advent season without being overbearing.
Material & finish
The silhouette is made of 3 mm plywood and laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. This gives it the typical brown edge and smooth edges that don't fray. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. It takes paint, glue and oil well. Wood is a purely natural material. Shade and grain vary, and small knots may appear. This makes every piece one of a kind and is not a defect.

- In the window or on the table at Christmas: A large silhouette stands out with its simple shape. Your home looks festive without feeling cluttered.
- In an Advent arrangement: A small king between twigs and candles. Suddenly the arrangement tells a story.
- In nurseries, schools or parishes: With sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100, you have enough figures ready for crafting afternoons and carol singer projects. No need to reorder again and again.
- In shops or cafés: Painted or left natural, you can decorate shop windows and counters for Advent. Quick to set up and reusable every year.
About the Three Kings
The Three Kings, traditionally known as Caspar, Melchior and Balthasar, have been part of the Christmas story for centuries. In many places, their feast day on 6 January marks the end of the Christmas season. So the silhouette is not only for the nativity scene. It also works for Epiphany decorations and crafting activities with carol singers.
Care & durability
There isn't much you need to do. As the wood is untreated, it is best to store the king in a dry place. Protect it from constant moisture. You can also finish the surface with paint or oil as you wish. That way, the figure will stay with you for many Advent seasons.
