Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong. The wedding table is almost ready, but the table runner still needs a little something – a few small wooden hearts as table scatter, and suddenly everything feels lovingly finished. A wooden heart decoration works just as well on a gift, on a wreath or as a large statement piece on the wall: made for your occasion, because you choose the size yourself, from 1 to 50 cm. You can leave the untreated wooden hearts from Bütic just as they are – or paint and decorate them however you like.
What changes for you
- You'll find the right size for every idea – because the hearts can be ordered from 1 cm to 50 cm in 1 cm steps, from table scatter to wall decoration.
- You can start creating straight away with no prep – the plywood is left natural and is easy to glue things onto, paint, coat or oil.
- Your table decoration looks like a matching set rather than thrown together. Each heart is laser-cut to the same shape with smooth edges, so every heart matches the next.
- You can get larger quantities without placing several orders – the hearts are available individually or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.
- You're holding a neatly made piece from our own production in Pößneck. It's made in Thuringia, with careful workmanship.
Why wooden hearts make a difference every day
A wooden heart brings warmth to your decorations without being overpowering. Whether on a festive table, on gift ribbon or in a craft project with children – the natural material looks calm and genuine, where shiny plastic decorations can quickly look generic. And because you choose the size and quantity freely, you don't have to adapt your idea to the material – the material adapts to your idea.
Material & finish
The hearts are made from 3 mm thick plywood and laser-cut – which gives them the typical brown edge that lends every heart a warm, finished look. The cut edges are smooth, so the hearts feel pleasant in your hand and are ready for you to work with straight away. The wood is untreated, not varnished and not glazed: paints, glues and oils adhere well, and you decide on the finish yourself. As a purely natural material, wood is never completely uniform – shade, grain and small knots vary. That's exactly what makes every heart unique, not a flaw.

How to use the wooden hearts
- Before the wedding: scatter small hearts over table runners and plates – and the table looks lovingly prepared before the first guest sits down.
- At the craft table: the children paint each heart in their favourite colour – and at the end, homemade wooden heart decorations hang in the window.
- For wrapping presents: tie a labelled heart to the ribbon instead of using shop-bought tags. The name or message is then clearly visible on the parcel.
- In a café or at the weekly market: wooden heart decorations on the counter or as hand-lettered price tags – natural, reusable and quick to arrange.
- In model making and seasonal decorations: from a 1 cm detail to a 50 cm heart on the wall – a shape that works from spring right through to Valentine's Day.
Good to know about the heart
As a symbol of love and affection, the heart has featured in art and everyday culture since the Middle Ages, and it is still probably the most universally understood sign of all. That's why a wooden heart suits so many occasions: weddings and engagements, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, or simply as a thank-you on a gift.
Care & durability
There's not much you need to do: stored somewhere dry, the untreated hearts keep their natural look for a long time. Avoid constant moisture – if you'd like to use the hearts outdoors or in damper places, you can paint or oil them beforehand to protect the surface.

Frequently asked questions
Can I paint the wooden hearts or stick things on them? Yes. The wood is untreated and left natural – you can paint, coat, oil or glue things onto it, whatever your project needs.
Why do the hearts have a brown edge? The hearts are laser-cut. This creates the typical brown edge – it comes with the cutting method and also ensures smooth edges.
Do all the hearts look the same? The shape is identical, the wood isn't: as a natural material, it varies in shade and grain, and small knots are normal. That makes every heart unique.
Which sizes and quantities are available? You can choose any size from 1 cm to 50 cm in 1 cm steps – individually or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.
In the end, it's not about a piece of plywood in the shape of a heart. It's about the moment someone picks up your gift, spots the little heart on the ribbon and realises: someone really put thought into this. Simply choose the size and quantity that suit your idea – the rest is up to you.
