The heart is laser-cut from 3 mm poplar plywood and made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. The laser cut gives smooth edges and the typical brown rim. This rim makes the design look as if it were framed. The roses on the top are drawn with contour cuts. The underside is left natural. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. This means paints, glues and oils stick reliably. Wood is a natural material and is never completely uniform. Differences in shade, fine structures in the grain and small knots are normal. That is exactly what makes every piece unique.
