The maple leaf is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives it the typical fine brown edge, which adds depth to the shape. The top side shows the scored leaf contours. The underside is left natural. Wood is a natural material, so every leaf turns out slightly different. Some are lighter, some darker, each with its own grain and sometimes small knots. That makes every piece one of a kind. The maple leaf is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.
