The underside is left natural. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor stained. It takes paint and glue well. Wood is a natural material, so every piece shows its own grain, small knots and differences in shade. This is not a flaw. It is what makes every alpaca one of a kind. The cutout is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

Can I paint the alpaca or stick things on it? Yes. The plywood is untreated. You can paint, oil, varnish or decorate it with glued-on items – whatever your idea is.

Why does the cutout have a brown edge? The alpaca is laser-cut. The brown edge forms naturally during cutting and is part of the typical look of the shape.
