Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong. The craft table is ready. Paints and brushes are laid out. All that's missing is the shape that turns your idea into autumn decoration. Our wooden apple leaf is made for exactly that. It's a finely laser-cut leaf shape. You can paint it, stick things on it or simply leave it natural. This way, a plain wooden cutout becomes table scatter, a window decoration or a lovingly made detail on your harvest table.
What changes for you
- You can get started straight away, with no sawing or sanding. The apple leaf is already cleanly laser-cut and has smooth edges.
- Your shape fits your project exactly. You choose the height from 5 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
- You can design it just the way you like. The untreated wood takes paint, glue and oil without any trouble.
- You won't run short when crafting with children or on bigger decorating projects. Sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces are available.
- Your leaf looks decorative even on its own. The outlines are finely scored into the surface, and the laser-cut edge has the typical warm brown tone.
Why this wooden apple leaf makes a difference every day
A real piece of wood feels different in your hand from paper or plastic. It's warmer and has more grip. Scatter the leaf on the table, hang it from a branch or stand it in the window. It brings a bit of garden and harvest time into your home. And because every leaf has its own grain, your decoration never looks generic. It looks naturally grown.
Material & finish
The apple leaf is laser-cut from 3 mm poplar plywood. That's where the smooth edges come from, along with the distinctive brown edge that outlines the shape. The leaf veins are scored into the top side. The underside is left natural. The wood is untreated, not varnished or glazed. So you can paint it, stick things on it or oil it as you like. Every leaf is made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a purely natural material, so every piece turns out slightly different. The shade varies, and there may be small irregularities in the grain or small knots. This is what makes every leaf one of a kind – it is not a defect.

How to use the apple leaf
- Crafting with children: Each child paints their own leaf. In the end, a colourful leaf tree hangs in the children's room, and everyone is proud of it.
- On the autumn table: Scatter a few leaves in different sizes between candles and crockery. Your harvest table then tells a story of the garden and the season.
- As a gift tag: Write on the leaf and tie it to the ribbon. Your little gift, from apple cake to homemade jelly, then carries a handwritten message.
- In the farm shop, café or at the market stall: Use large leaves as decoration you can write on, on shelves and counters. Your apple varieties and seasonal offers are then easy to see at a glance.
- For harvest festival and school projects: With the set of 50 or 100, you can decorate whole windows or make garlands and mobiles. You don't have to cut out every leaf yourself.
Good to know about the apple leaf
The apple tree is one of the oldest cultivated plants of all. It has always stood for garden, harvest and fertility. That's why the apple leaf suits more than autumn decoration. It also fits harvest festival and garden parties, or works as a motif for farm shops and fruit growers.
Care & durability
There isn't much you need to do. Keep the untreated wood dry and simply wipe it with a dry cloth when needed. Avoid constant moisture. If you want to use the leaf outdoors, protect it first with paint, varnish or oil. This way it keeps its shape and natural look for a long time.

Frequently asked questions
Can I paint the apple leaf or stick things on it? Yes. The wood is untreated, not varnished or glazed. You can paint it, stick things on it, coat it or oil it.
Can the leaf veins be seen on both sides? No. The scored outline is on the top side. The underside is left natural.
Why don't all the leaves look exactly the same? Wood is a natural material. Shade and grain vary, and small knots are normal. This is what makes every leaf one of a kind.
Where does the brown edge come from? The leaf is laser-cut. This creates the typical dark edge, which gives the shape a clear, warm outline.
How wide is the leaf? The width depends on the height you choose. For reference: at a height of 10 cm, the leaf is 5.5 cm wide.
A wooden cutout is only the starting point. What counts is the moment when a few leaves, some paint and an afternoon at the kitchen table become your very own autumn decoration. Just choose your size and quantity – and get started.
