The little trees are made from 3 mm plywood and are laser cut. This creates the typical brown edges and clean, even outlines. The surface is light and unfinished, so neither varnished nor glazed. Paint, glue and pens stick well, and the wood keeps its natural character. As a natural material, every tree has its own grain, slight differences in shade and the occasional small knot. This is not a flaw. It is exactly what makes each piece one of a kind. The trees are made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.
