Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong. The first warm days are here, and you want your window to finally look like spring. You're just missing a motif that brings the garden and summer indoors. A wooden bee is made for this. Use it as a single silhouette in the window or in a wreath. Or hang a little swarm above the honey shelf. You choose the height from 5 to 50 cm. Then you decorate the blanks to suit your home or your counter.
What changes for you
- You get exactly the size you need. The bee can be ordered in 1 cm steps from 5 to 50 cm tall. That covers everything from table scatter to a large shop window figure.
- Your bee looks lively even before you paint it. Fine contour lines are lasered into the top to mark the face and wings.
- You can start decorating straight away, with no sanding first. The plywood is laser-cut and has smooth edges.
- You can turn the figure into a honeybee or a wild bee, just as you like. The wood is untreated. You can glue things on, paint it, varnish it or oil it.
- Bigger projects are easy to kit out too. The bee comes singly or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.
Why this wooden bee makes a difference in everyday life
A wooden bee silhouette fits right into spring and garden decorations. There are no loud colours and no plastic shine. In the window, in a wreath or between honey jars, it brings to mind the garden, summer and handmade things. And because you decorate the blanks yourself, every finished bee shows your own hand.
Material & finish
The bee is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives it the typical warm brown edge. The edge frames the silhouette and is part of the motif's look. The edges are smooth. The top has the lasered contour lines, and the underside is left natural. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor stained. You decide on the colour and finish yourself. Wood is a natural material and is never completely uniform. Shade, grain and small knots vary, so every piece is one of a kind. Every bee is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use your wooden bee
- Spring decoration in the window: hang up a few bees in different sizes. The view outside instantly feels like summer.
- In a door wreath or flower arrangement: tuck a small bee between twigs and blossoms. The arrangement tells a story of the garden.
- For painting with children: everyone designs their own honeybee or wild bee. In the end, a whole family of bees hangs in the window.
- In the window of an apiary or farm shop: a swarm of bees above the honey jars. Customers can see from the street what you're all about.
- At the weekly market: large bees on the stall, small ones on the jars. With the sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100, you can kit out your whole stand in one go.
Good to know about the bee
Since ancient times, the bee has been a symbol of hard work, community and fertility. Hardly any other creature stands so clearly for a garden in bloom. That's why the motif suits spring and summer decorations. It also fits anything to do with honey, beekeeping and wildlife gardens.
Care & durability
There's not much you need to do. Indoors in a dry place, the untreated plywood stays looking good for a long time. Avoid constant damp. If you want to display the bee outdoors, protect it first with paint, varnish or oil, whichever you prefer.

Frequently asked questions
Is the bee carved from wood? No, the silhouette is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives it smooth edges and even contours. The motif also gets the typical brown edge.
Can I paint the bee or glue things onto it? Yes. The wood is untreated, so neither varnished nor stained. You can paint it, varnish it, oil it or glue things onto it.
Why are the edges brown? The brown edge comes from laser cutting. It isn't a flaw. It's the typical feature of laser-cut wooden shapes and brings out the silhouette.
Do all the bees look the same? The shape is identical, the wood isn't. As a natural material, it varies in shade and grain, and small knots are normal. That's exactly what makes every piece one of a kind.
Is the bee suitable for outdoors? Untreated, it belongs indoors in a dry place. Once protected with paint, varnish or oil, you can also use it outdoors in a sheltered spot.
Picture a small swarm hanging in the window, in a wreath or above the shop counter. Spring is already there, before it has properly arrived outside. Just choose your height and quantity. You decorate the rest.
