Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong.Spring is on its way, the craft box is open and the kids are eager to get started – all that's missing is a nice motif. That's exactly what the wooden bee V3 is made for. It's a cheerful honey bee as a plywood cutout. You can paint it, decorate it or simply hang it up as it is. An ordinary afternoon turns into a craft project. Afterwards, it brings joy for a long time in the window, on a wreath or on a gift.
What changes for you
- You can start crafting straight away. The wood is untreated. You can paint, decorate, varnish or oil it, just as you like.
- Your motif looks lively even before you decorate it. The engraved contour lines trace the bee's face and markings in fine detail.
- You'll find the right size for every project, from a small gift tag to a large window decoration. The width can be chosen from 5 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
- Crafting with children stays relaxed. The laser-cut edges are smooth and need no sanding.
- You can easily supply larger groups or events too. Sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces are available.
Why this wooden bee makes a difference in everyday life
A ready-cut motif takes care of the hardest part for you. There's nothing to draw and nothing to saw. You can go straight to the fun part: decorating. Hang it in the window, add it to a spring wreath or tie it to a gift as a tag. The bee brings a bit of nature and good cheer into your home without taking up much of your time. Wood has a smooth, slightly textured surface that absorbs paint well. So even a simply painted piece looks lovingly made.
Material & finish
The bee is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives it the typical fine brown edge, which frames the motif naturally. The top shows the engraved contour lines with face and markings. The underside is left natural. The wood is neither varnished nor glazed, so paint and glue adhere well. Wood is a natural material, so every cutout varies slightly in shade and grain. Small knots or irregularities are not a defect. They make each piece one of a kind. The bee is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use the wooden bee
- Crafting with children: Each child paints their own bee. At the end, they proudly take home a piece they made themselves, whether from nursery or school.
- For spring decorations: Hang a few bees in the window or tuck them into a wreath. Your entrance instantly looks more welcoming.
- As a gift tag: Write a name on a small bee and tie it to the ribbon. Your gift gets a personalised label with very little effort.
- In a farm shop, café or at a market stall: Place bees on the counter or by the honey shelf. Your products are presented to match the theme in just a few steps.
- For club and school projects: With sets from 10 pieces, you can supply whole groups without ordering individually.
Good to know about the bee
The bee has long been a symbol of hard work, community and blossoming gardens. Hardly any other creature stands for spring quite like it. So the motif suits not only window and garden decorations. It also fits beekeeping themes, harvest festivals or nature and environment projects at nursery and school.
Care & durability
There isn't much you need to do. The wood is untreated. Stored dry, it keeps its natural look for a long time. Avoid constant moisture. If you want to use the bee outdoors, protect it with a coat of paint, varnish or oil.

Frequently asked questions
Can I paint the wooden bee? Yes. The wood is untreated and can be varnished, painted, decorated or oiled. Paint adheres well to the natural surface.
Is the motif drawn on both sides? No. The engraved contour lines with face and markings are on the top. The underside is left natural.
Why do the cutouts look slightly different? Wood is a natural material. Shade, grain and small knots vary from piece to piece. That's what makes every bee unique.
Are the edges smooth enough for crafting with children? Yes. The bee is laser-cut and has smooth edges. This creates the typical brown edge along the outline.
How do I choose the right size? You can order widths from 5 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps. At a width of 10 cm, the height is also 10 cm.
