The birch leaf is made from 3 mm thick plywood and laser-cut – which creates the typical, finely browned edge that nicely highlights the leaf's outline. The edges are smooth and the finish is clean, so paints and glue adhere well. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed – ideal for decorating however you like. Please bear in mind: wood is a purely natural material. Each leaf varies slightly in shade and grain, and small knots may occur – which is exactly what makes every piece unique.
