Material & finish

The flower stake is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. That's why it has smooth edges and the typical brown rim, which gives the pumpkin an autumnal look straight away. The wood is untreated, so it is neither varnished nor glazed. Paint, glue and oil adhere directly to the surface. Wood is a natural material and never completely uniform. Variations in shade, fine grain patterns and small knots are part of it and make every piece one of a kind. The stake is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.
