Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong.Healthy eating is the topic at nursery. Or the toy shop in the children's room needs new stock. Or the veg counter at the weekly market needs an easy-to-read sign. And you still need the right motif. This wooden broccoli gives you a plywood vegetable silhouette. You can paint it, cover it or leave it natural, just as you like. Choose exactly the size that suits your project, from 3 to 50 cm. Made for your next craft project.
What changes for you
- You start straight away with the creative part, not the sawing – because the broccoli arrives cleanly laser-cut and ready to use.
- Your paints, glues and oils hold reliably – because the wood is untreated. No varnish or glaze seals the surface.
- You'll find the right size for every project, from a small table scatter piece to a large counter sign – thanks to sizes from 3 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
- When crafting with children, you don't need to worry about sharp or splintered edges – the laser cut leaves them smooth.
- For group activities at nursery, school or a club, you'll have enough blanks for everyone – because the broccoli also comes in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.
Why this wooden broccoli makes a difference day to day
A ready-made blank takes care of the hardest part: neatly cutting out a delicate shape. You focus on the fun part – mixing colours, embellishing, decorating. And you still get an even, recognisable motif. So a spontaneous craft idea at the kitchen table or a display project in your shop quickly becomes a finished, recognisable motif.
Material & finish
The broccoli is made of 3 mm plywood and laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck. The laser cut gives smooth edges and the typical brown edge. This edge gives the silhouette extra definition. The wood is left untreated, so it is neither varnished nor glazed. That's ideal if you want to paint, oil or cover it yourself. Wood is a natural material, so every piece turns out slightly different. The shade varies, and small knots or slight irregularities in the grain are normal. This makes each cutout one of a kind, not faulty.

How to use the wooden broccoli
- Crafting with children: each child paints their own broccoli. At the end, a colourful vegetable garland hangs in the group room, and everyone is proud of it.
- In the children's room: a few small broccoli for the toy shop. The play vegetables feel heavier in the hand and look more real than any plastic version.
- In farm shops, veg stalls or organic shops: a large broccoli as a sign you can write on at the counter. Your customers see what's on offer at a glance.
- In the kitchen and dining room: as table scatter or a hanging decoration in natural wood. A wooden vegetable that makes people smile when they look at it.
- Making money gifts: attach a banknote to the wooden broccoli for anyone who wished for “something healthy”. It's a gift that's sure to get a laugh when it's unwrapped.
Good to know about broccoli
The name broccoli comes from the Italian “broccoli” and roughly means “cabbage sprouts”. The vegetable has long been seen as a symbol of healthy eating. That's why the motif works so well for nutrition projects at nursery and school, for market stalls and for any kitchen decoration with a vegetable theme.
Care & durability
There's not much to do: just wipe off dust with a dry cloth. As the plywood is untreated, protect it from constant moisture. If you want to use the broccoli outdoors or in the kitchen, paint or oil it first. That way the surface stays looking good for a long time.

Frequently asked questions
Can I paint or cover the wooden broccoli? Yes. The plywood is untreated, so paints, glues and oils stick well. You can paint it, oil it, cover it or leave the wood natural.
Why does the cutout have a brown edge? The broccoli is laser-cut. The brown edge comes from the laser cut and is typical of this process. It also gives you smooth edges.
Do all cutouts look the same? The shape does, the wood not quite: as a natural material, it varies in brightness and grain, and small knots are possible. This makes every piece unique.
Is the cutout suitable for outdoor use? The wood is untreated. For use outdoors or in damp conditions, protect it first with a suitable paint or oil.
With this plywood cutout, a plain piece of wood becomes exactly the decoration you had in mind, made by your own hands. Just choose your size and quantity – and get started.
