The silhouette is made of 3 mm plywood and laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck. Laser cutting gives smooth edges and the typical brown rim, which gives the figure a natural look. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. This means paint and glue stick well. As a natural material, wood is never completely uniform. Shade, grain and small knots vary. This isn't a flaw. It makes every buffalo unique.
