The edges are smooth and the finish is clean. The wood is completely untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. That's why paints, pens and glue adhere reliably. As a natural material, every piece has its own grain. Some are lighter, some darker, and occasionally there are small knots. This isn't a flaw – it's exactly what makes every fish one of a kind.
