Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong. The cocktail party is coming up, a birthday is on the way or the shop window needs a new theme. And you're still missing the motif that ties it all together. With this wooden cocktail glass for crafts, you have a blank shape you can paint, decorate or write on just as you like. It's made for your next craft idea. The simple outline becomes table decoration, a garland, a sign or a lovingly made money gift.
What changes for you
- You design the motif in exactly your style. The wood is left natural, so you can paint it, stick things on it, varnish it or oil it.
- You get the size that really fits your project. Choose any height from 5 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps, from card motifs to shop window decorations.
- You can start straight away, with no sanding or trimming. The laser-cut outline has smooth edges and a clean finish.
- You can plan larger projects with ease. Order the cocktail glass singly or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.
- Your motif looks finished even before you decorate it. The typical brown edge from laser cutting frames the shape and gives it a clear outline.
Why this wooden cocktail glass makes a difference
Shop-bought decorations often look the same everywhere. A motif you design yourself tells your story. Use it at each guest's place, as a garland above the home bar or on the shop counter. The clear, stylised glass shape is instantly recognisable as a cocktail glass and brings a bar mood to any setting. And because you choose the size and design yourself, the result fits your occasion, not the other way round.
Material & finish
The cocktail glass is laser-cut from 3 mm poplar plywood. This gives it smooth edges and a precise outline, with no tears or splinters. The wood is untreated, neither lacquered nor glazed. It takes paint, glue and oil well. As a natural material, every piece has its own shade and grain, small knots included. That makes each motif one of a kind. It is made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use the wooden cocktail glass
- Before the cocktail party: paint small glasses in the colours of your favourite drinks and put one at each place. Your guests are in the mood as soon as they sit down.
- Crafting with children: each child decorates their own glass with paint and glitter. At the end, a colourful garland hangs above the party table.
- For a birthday: cover a large motif with folded banknotes to make a money gift that definitely won't vanish in an envelope.
- In bars, cafés or restaurants: a large cocktail glass in the shop window or on the counter announces happy hour. Write your own offer on it.
- For cards and signs: put a small glass on the invitation to a summer party or an anniversary. The theme is clear at first glance.
Good to know about the cocktail glass
The cone-shaped silhouette of the cocktail glass is familiar from the classic martini glass. It is recognised worldwide as a symbol for bars and cocktails. That's exactly why the outline works so well as a flat decorative motif. It is understood without a single word, whether at the home bar, on an invitation or in a shop window.
Care & durability
There's not much to do. As the wood is untreated, an occasional dusting is enough. Keep the motif away from constant moisture. That way it keeps its shape and its natural look for a long time. If you paint or oil it, you decide on the surface yourself anyway.

Frequently asked questions
Can I paint or decorate the cocktail glass? Yes. The wood is left natural and is neither lacquered nor glazed. Paint, glue and oil therefore adhere well.
Where does the brown edge come from? The motif is laser-cut. The brown edge is typical of this cutout and also ensures smooth, clean edges.
How wide is the motif at my chosen height? As a guide: at a height of 10 cm, the width is 8.5 cm. The proportions stay the same across all sizes.
Do all the glasses look exactly the same? The shape does, the wood not quite. As a natural material, it shows different shades, grain and occasionally small knots. Every piece is one of a kind.
What counts is not the piece of plywood. It's the moment your guests discover the decorations you made yourself. The party starts before the first drink. Just choose the height and quantity and get started on your idea.
