The badger silhouette is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. The laser cut gives clean outlines. It also leaves the typical brown edge that gives the motif depth. The edges are smooth, so you can start designing straight away. The wood stays untreated, with no varnish or glaze. That way paint, glue and oil take well. As a natural material, each piece has its own shade and grain. Small knots can occur too. That's exactly what makes every badger one of a kind.
