With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong.A mobile for the nursery, a card for a new baby or decorations for a child's birthday party – sometimes all that's missing is the one motif that brings it all together. That's how a craft idea turns into a wooden tricycle you've designed yourself.

Why this wooden tricycle makes a difference in everyday life
A wooden tricycle motif instantly brings back memories of those first laps on three wheels. That feeling comes through in your decorations. Use it on a door wreath for the nursery, on a gift for a new baby or as table scatter at a birthday party. The clear shape looks friendly and familiar without being overbearing. You're decorating with a motif everyone knows, and it still looks just like you.
Material & finish
The silhouette is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. That's why it has smooth edges and the typical brown rim that gives the motif a fine outline. The wood is untreated. It isn't varnished or glazed, so it takes paint, glue or oil well. Wood is a purely natural material. It varies in shade, shows different grain patterns and may have small knots. This makes each piece unique – it isn't a flaw.

- For a new baby: Stick a small tricycle onto the congratulations card. A simple card becomes a keepsake that people like to hold on to.
- At a children's birthday party: Every child gets to paint their own tricycle. You have a craft station that keeps them busy, and the guests take their work home.
- In the nursery: A large tricycle in favourite colours on the wall or door. It's a piece you won't find in any shop.
- For painting and designing tricycles at nursery or primary school: A set of 25 or 50 pieces covers the whole group, so you don't have to reorder individual pieces.
- In a shop or café: Use them as table scatter on the counter or on price tags for baby and children's ranges. The display looks lovingly put together, and setting it up takes only minutes.
Good to know about the tricycle
For generations, the tricycle has been seen as a child's very first vehicle. Many parents remember the moment their child first pedalled on their own for a long time. That's exactly why the silhouette works so well as a motif for births, christenings and children's birthdays. It tells a story of setting off and taking your first steps on your own.
Care & durability
There isn't much you need to do. As the wood is untreated, an occasional wipe with a dry cloth is enough. Avoid prolonged moisture. Or protect the surface yourself with paint, varnish or oil, and your motif will stay looking good for a long time.

Frequently asked questions
Can I paint the tricycle straight away? Yes. The plywood is untreated and takes paints, pens and glue well. No primer is needed, so you can get started right away.
Why does the edge have a brown rim? The motif is laser-cut. This creates the typical brown rim that gives the silhouette a fine frame. The edges are also smooth, so there's no need for sanding.
Do all pieces look the same? The shape is always identical, but the wood isn't. As a natural material, it varies in shade and grain, and small knots are normal. This makes each piece unique.
How big is the tricycle at the width I choose? As a guide: at a width of 10 cm, the height is 8.5 cm. All other sizes follow the same proportions.
What really counts is the moment someone opens your card or spots the painted tricycle in the nursery. They can feel the effort and affection behind it straight away. Just choose your size and quantity. You design the rest.
