Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong. The wedding table is almost ready. The money gifts still need some loving wrapping. And one natural element is missing that ties it all together. A wooden ivy leaf is made for this. You paint it, write on it or decorate it just as you like. And you get it in exactly the size you need. That's how a simple wooden cutout becomes your very own decoration.
What changes for you
- You design it just as you like. The poplar plywood is untreated, so you can paint it, stick things on it, oil it or coat it.
- You get exactly the size that suits your project. Heights range from 5 to 50 cm and can be chosen in 1 cm steps.
- You don't need to draw the leaf shape yourself. The contours are already lightly laser-scored into the top side.
- You can start straight away without sanding. The laser cut leaves smooth edges, so nobody gets splinters.
- You can plan larger projects without stress. Order them individually or as a set of 10, 25, 50 or 100. That works well for crafting with children or table decorations for lots of guests.
Why this wooden ivy leaf makes a difference in everyday life
Shop-bought decorations often look the same everywhere. A leaf of natural wood that you have designed yourself tells your story instead. Use it as a place card, a gift tag or part of a garland. The warm material brings calm and a natural feel to your home without being overpowering. And because you choose the size and design yourself, the result really suits your occasion.
Material & finish
The ivy leaf is laser-cut from 3 mm poplar plywood. This gives it the typical brown edge, which traces a fine, natural outline around the leaf shape. The top side shows the scored contour lines. The underside is left natural, so you can use either side as you need. The wood is completely untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. It takes paints, glues and oils well. Every leaf is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a natural material and never completely uniform. Brightness, grain and small knots vary. This makes every leaf one of a kind and is not a defect.

How to use the ivy leaf
- Before a wedding or christening: write your guests' names on small leaves. Every place at the table then looks individually designed.
- When crafting money gifts: the leaf becomes a natural base or a tag. Your gift then looks like it was made with effort and heart, not just put in an envelope.
- When crafting with children: every child paints their own leaf. At the end, a colourful leaf garland hangs in the children's room or classroom.
- For autumn and seasonal decorations: combine several sizes on a windowsill or sideboard. The room gets a calm, natural theme.
- In a café or farm shop: write on leaves and use them as price tags or variety labels at the counter. They look uniform and are quick to swap when needed.
Good to know about the ivy leaf
Since ancient times, ivy has been a symbol of loyalty and lasting connection. The plant is evergreen and clings firmly to its support. That's why the ivy leaf suits weddings, anniversaries and gifts for friends so well. The symbolism comes with the decoration.
Care & durability
There isn't much to do. Keep the untreated wood dry and avoid constant moisture. It will then keep its light, natural look for a long time. If you want to use it outdoors, simply protect it with varnish or oil first.
