Material & finish

The egg is laser-cut from 3 mm poplar plywood. This gives a clean, precise outline and smooth edges that don't need sanding. The top has the dotted outline as a fine scored line. The underside is left untreated. Wood is a natural material, so every piece turns out slightly different. Variations in shade, fine structures in the grain and small knots are normal. This makes every egg one of a kind. It is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.
