Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong.Autumn is arriving and the first conkers are lying on the path. You want to bring that feeling home: to the windowsill, the door wreath, the laid table. That is exactly what these wooden acorns are made for. As blanks in a natural shape, they leave everything up to you. Paint them, decorate them or simply arrange them as they are. A simple silhouette becomes decoration made by your own hand.
What changes for you
- You design your decoration exactly the way you like it. The wood is untreated, so you can paint it, oil it, stick things on it or leave it natural.
- You will find the right size for every idea, from a small table scatter piece to a large single figure. Choose any height from 3 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
- You save yourself the hard work of sawing by hand. The wooden acorns arrive laser-cut and ready, with smooth edges.
- Crafting with children, in a group or for a bazaar is easy. You can order the cutouts individually or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.
- Your decoration looks like it belongs together rather than thrown together. The typical brown laser edge gives every wooden acorn a clean, finished outline.
Why these wooden acorns make a difference in everyday life
Shop-bought autumn decorations often look the same everywhere. With wooden decorative acorns, you decide what they become. A simple natural decoration, a colourful craft project or a lovingly designed place card. The natural material brings warmth and calm to the room all by itself. And in the end, you hold something in your hands that exists only once.
Material & finish
Every acorn is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives it smooth, clean edges and the characteristic brown rim that outlines the shape. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. Paint and glue stick to it well. Wood is a purely natural material, so every acorn turns out slightly different. Some are lighter, some darker, now and then with small knots or fine irregularities in the grain. That makes every piece unique – not a flaw, but character. The cutouts come from our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use the wooden acorns
- Autumn crafts with children: every child paints their own acorn. In the end, a colourful garland hangs in the window and everyone is proud of it.
- At an autumn coffee table: a small wooden acorn lies at each place, labelled with the guest's name. The place card doubles as a keepsake to take home.
- On a door wreath or in an arrangement: a few wooden acorns between twigs and rose hips. The wreath gets a calm, recognisable autumn motif.
- In a café or bakery: large acorns up to 50 cm high mark the autumn promotion in the shop window or on the counter. Quick to place and reusable every season.
- For bazaars, nurseries and schools: with sets of 10 or more, you have enough blanks for the whole group. No need to pick up a saw yourself.
Good to know about the acorn
The acorn is the fruit of the oak. It has always stood for strength, endurance and growth. This goes back to the old idea that a small acorn grows into a mighty tree. So the motif suits classic autumn and harvest festival decorations. It also works as a small symbol of a new beginning, for example a child's first day at school or moving into a new home.
Care & durability
There is not much you need to do. Kept dry and dusted now and then, the untreated cutouts keep their natural look for a long time. Avoid constant moisture. If you want to make the acorns more resistant, you can paint or oil them.
