Why this oak leaf makes a difference every day
A leaf made of real wood brings a calm to your decorations that plastic simply can't match. Whether as table scatter on your harvest festival table, as a hanging decoration on an autumn branch or as a crafting base for a cosy afternoon: the warm material turns a quick idea into a little piece of home. And because you choose the size freely, the oak leaf shape always suits your project, from place cards to large wall decorations.
Material & finish
The oak leaf is laser-cut from 3 mm thick plywood. That's why it has smooth edges and the typical brown rim. The rim gives the motif a nice outline. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. So it takes paint, glue and oil well. Wood is a purely natural material. Each leaf varies a little in shade and grain. Small knots may occur. This makes every piece one of a kind. Every wooden leaf is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

Good to know about the oak leaf
For centuries, the oak has been seen as a symbol of strength and endurance – which is why oak leaves still appear on coins and coats of arms today. That's exactly why the motif suits not only autumn and harvest festival decorations, but also anniversaries, hunting and nature themes, or as a small token of connection.
Care & durability
There's not much you need to do: keep the untreated wood dry and it will retain its natural look for a long time. Avoid constant moisture – if you'd like to make the leaf more resistant, simply oil or paint it.

Frequently asked questions
Can I paint or decorate the oak leaf? Yes. The wood is untreated and takes paint, glue and oil well – ideal for crafting, embellishing and painting.
Why does the leaf have a brown edge? The oak leaf is laser-cut. This creates the typical brown edge that gives the motif a clear outline – the edges are smooth.
Do all the leaves look the same? The shape is always identical, but wood is a natural material: shade and grain vary slightly, and small knots are possible. That makes every piece unique.
Is the leaf suitable for outdoor use? The wood is untreated and should be protected from constant moisture. For outdoor use, we recommend a protective coat of paint or a wood stain.
In the end, it isn't about a wooden cutout. It's about the moment your home looks like autumn – and your guests ask whether you really made it yourself. Simply choose your size and quantity, and get started.
