Why this wooden moose makes a difference
Shop-bought decorations often look the same everywhere. With an untreated wooden moose, you create something of your own. A windowsill that reflects you. A craft table where children and adults pick up brushes and glue together. A gift you have designed yourself. The clear moose silhouette looks calm and natural, with no glitter and no fuss.
Material & finish
The moose is made from 3 mm plywood and laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck. This gives it the typical brown edge, which outlines the silhouette nicely. The edges are smooth and do not splinter. Good to know when children are crafting too. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. Paints, glues and oils adhere to it particularly well. Wood is a natural material, so every moose turns out slightly different. Some are lighter, some darker, and some have small knots in the grain. That makes every piece unique.

How to use the wooden moose
- At an Advent crafting afternoon: every child paints their own moose. At the end, a whole herd hangs in the window, and everyone is proud of it.
- On a wintry table: a small moose at each place, labelled by hand. The place card becomes a keepsake for your guests to take home.
- As a wooden moose decoration on a gift: tie it to the parcel with cord. Even plain brown paper then looks lovingly wrapped.
- In a café, bakery or at a market stall: large moose cutouts in the shop window or on the counter give you matching seasonal decorations in a few minutes. With the sets, you can decorate several areas at once.
- In nurseries, schools or workshops: the sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces are enough for the whole group. You don't have to reorder individual pieces.
Good to know about the moose
The moose is a symbol of Scandinavia. From there, it has found a firm place in winter and Christmas decorations. That is why the motif suits not just the Advent season. It fits any Nordic-style home all year round, from a hygge living room to a cabin look.
Care & durability
There's not much to do. Simply wipe off dust with a dry cloth. The wood is untreated, so protect it from constant moisture. For outdoor use, we recommend painting or oiling it with a product of your choice. That way, your wooden moose will last for many seasons.

Frequently asked questions
Can I paint the wooden moose or stick things on it? Yes. The plywood is untreated. Paints, glues and oils adhere to it very well. You can paint it, oil it, decorate it or use it natural.
Why does the moose have a brown edge? The cutout is laser-cut. This creates the typical dark edge that outlines the silhouette. The edges are smooth and do not splinter.
Is the moose suitable for outdoor use? Untreated, it is best kept indoors. You can prepare it for outdoor use by painting or oiling it.
Do all the moose look the same? The shape is identical, the wood is not. As a natural material, it varies in shade and may show small knots or irregularities in the grain. That makes every piece unique.
How tall is the moose at a given width? For reference: at a width of 10 cm, the height is 9 cm. The other sizes are in proportion.
A plywood cutout is only the starting point. Then comes the afternoon of painting and laughing at the kitchen table. And afterwards, the moose herd in your window. Simply choose your size and quantity. You design the rest.
