The donkey is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. The laser cut gives smooth edges and clean details. It feels pleasant in the hand and is ready to use without any finishing. The top side has the scored outlines. The underside is left natural. Wood is a natural material, so every piece turns out slightly different. Variations in shade, fine patterns in the grain and small knots are normal. That's what makes every donkey one of a kind.

Can I paint the donkey or glue things on it? Yes. The plywood is untreated and takes paints, glue, varnishes and oils well. It's ideal for decorating with your own ideas.

Why does the donkey have a brown edge? The cutout is laser-cut. This creates the typical dark edge, which gives the motif a clear, drawn outline.

Are both sides the same? No. The top side shows the face and outlines as scored lines. The underside is left natural and smooth.

Does every donkey look the same? The shape is identical, but the wood isn't. Shade, grain and small knots vary from piece to piece. That's normal for a natural material and makes every donkey unique.
